'Woe from Wit' is a very classic Russian book. Along with 'Eugene Onegin' by Alexander Pushkin, it opens the greatest chapter of Russian literature. Comedy in verse, written in 1823, has become one of the most quoted classic books, even nowadays.
The text of the play is presented in the form of a graphic novel. The book also contains an illustrated commentary to help today's students (the book is required work in Russian literature classes) to better understand the social and cultural context of the story.
During non/fiction book fair in Moscow 2023 Woe from Wit: A Gaphic Guide was a key visual for Samokat exbhibition stand (all photos belong to Samokat).
